Abstract:
Combined transport is the transport of goods by two or more modes of transport, the place of delivery at destination. It is characterized by the fact that, on the one hand, a tailored service activity seller and buyer, on the other hand, an international activity, through which goods pass from one country to another country, through different modes, with different tax regimes and regimes of different responsibilities. Thus, the choice of transport mode, depends on factors such as: planned destination, the cost involved, the length of product life. Combined transport ultimate goal is to achieve the movement of goods from seller to buyer, transit through a faster, more efficiently and at low cost. When combined road-rail transport aim is to achieve flexibility and
focusing on customer traffic, by exploiting the capacity resulting from the use of rail transport.
