Abstract:

To meet the specificity of the labor market, especially in an international context, to be an important player in this market where they trade talent, knowledge, the employer brand can be definitive in their attraction. Initially, the employer brand was regarded only as a way to attract candidates, and thereafter, it expanded its area of application to the retention and motivation of employees.

Employer brand is the company's strategy to attract valuable candidates from the labor market, to solve the problems of retention of well trained specialists (which would involve high costs of replacing them) by obtaining their loyalty, providing them with proper working conditions and development opportunities so that, in time, the individuals within the organization become advocates and promoters of the employer brand.
