Abstract:
Motivation has become a concept designed to help organizations achieve their goals. Studies have shown that there is a direct relationship between employee motivation and organizational performance. The purpose of this article is to identify the main motivational theories and their applicability to employees of financial institutions. The research method used consists in the analysis of the specialized literature and the quantitative research, which is based on a questionnaire applied to the employees of an ALPHA financial institution in Romania
